Another move!
Location: BlogsPastures new; - or familiar ground?
Posted by: AppleBlossom 19/09/2008 03:03
Yes, it's true, I have moved, yet again! This time, it's back to the country, but this time, really 'out in the sticks' as the saying goes! Peace and quiet - that's what I wanted and hopefully, that's what I'll appreciate, now that I do have it. This time, however, I won't be going 'all out' to decorate/do D.I.Y., etc. Mostly because I just don't have the energy now, but also because, when I moved back to the City, I spent so much time doing up the flat, promising myself I'd go 'somewhere nice/different' for a day out, when 'I have time' - but it just didn't happen, because I never did 'find the time' and used all my energy and time on the flat. By the time I realised I'd got my priorities all wrong, I also realised that this city move just wasn't going to work for me at all. When I am poorly, in the forthcoming months, that is when I shall truly appreciate my surroundings! (Please don't hesitate to remind me of this if I am ever foolish enough to say, at any time in the future; "I'm thinking of moving.....!"

Hi Appleblossom. I have only just noticed that you have added to your blog. Good to hear what you have been up to. How do you cope with all this moving around? Really do hope that you settle happily in the country and that you can get the rest and relaxation you need. Do remember not to overdo it and look after yourself. Would like to hear more about your new home when you have the time. Best wishes Chris

Hi AB,

I have only just read your Blog to see you have moved to the sticks, where abouts are you living now?

Living in the countryside is so perfect apart from the hunters, shooters and fishers who just want to get out there and kill things!!!!!

Martin.
