Set up your Special Events Reminders  

Special Events Reminder Setup Guide

Never miss another Birthday, Anniversary or Dental Appointment again.

This guide will show you how to set up either single or repeating events in your life. You will then be alerted after you login to AMG to upcoming events in your Personal Welcome box at the top of the Home Page.

To set up your Events first click on My Home Page and when the page is displayed scroll to the bottom of the screen. You will see the Events Reminder section. See screen shot below.

We are going to illustrate this with the User Marilyn. Marilyn has two events coming up this week, a Dental Appointment and her Brother's Birthday. So we will enter both dates.

To enter a New Event the 'New Event' button is clicked. The next screen shows the New Event of the Dentist's visit completed

Note that the 'Occurs' drop down box allows for an Event to be Once or Weekly/Monthly/Annually. When the form is complete click on the Create button

The next screen shows the Event Section completed for both the Dental Appointment and the Brother's Birthday. Both entries are colour coded red to denote that the Events will Occur within the next week.

The next time that Marilyn views the AMG Home Page the Personal Welcome box will show that two Events are happening within the next week. 'Click here to view' will go straight to the list of Events.

If Events are Once, Monthly or Annually then Marilyn will also be sent an E Mail Alert one week before the Event as a reminder. If the Event occurs Weekly then the E Mail is sent out one day in advance. Shown below is a sample E Mail that is sent out.
