This brief guide will help you to register on the site both quickly and simply.
The first step in the process is to click on Register. There are two places that you can do this, both located towards the top right hand side of the screen. See the illustration below for their location, the two items are circled.
When you have clicked on either of these items the screen shown below is displayed. There are some guidance notes at the top of the Registration form, these are:

Membership of this website is free. Once your profile information has been submitted you will have access to the entire site.
All fields marked with
are required.

next to the item labels.
You will be able to add to or change the information you enter on this page at any time in the future.
Any data item with a red label e.g. Email Address: will NOT be shown on your personal profile page.
If, after clicking on Register at the end of the form, you do not go to the Welcome Page, scroll up to review any error messages.
For registration you only need to complete the items designated with an arrow. You can complete or change the other items from your Profile screen at a later date. When you have filled out the boxes scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Register. The most common problem when registering occurs when the Register item is clicked and you do not progress to the next screen. This is because the site has detected some incorrect data in one or more of the boxes. Scroll up to review the errors. The screen below shows some error messages.
When you have fixed all the errors click on Register again and you will be taken to the Welcome screen shown below. You have now successfully registered with AboutMyGeneration and have full access to the site. You will be sent a confirmatory email to the email address that you have given confirming your User Name and Password.
