Hello and welcome to the AboutMyGeneration May newsletter
This is the fourth of our regular newsletters to let you know what’s new on the site and keep you up to date with competitions that are offering some great prizes.
There are more Marks and Spencer vouchers up for grabs again this month. Why not boost your points for the May members' draw by Inviting a Friend to join AMG? There have been some really interesting postings on the Blogs and in the Forums recently. So why not reply to the Forum Posts or start a Blog to gain even more points?
Lots of new articles and information on the site this month including the review of Menopause the Musical and an interview with Porter Freeman who turned his life around with the 'Body for Life' program (The book from the program is a prize this month.)
A new feature has been installed on the site, the Members' Chat Room. You can chat whenever you like and there is a scheduled get together every Monday between 8:30pm and 10:00pm.
Big push this month is to get members to upload their profile pictures. Its quick, easy and increases your chances of connecting with others on the site.
Kind regards
Peter Morrell

Menopause the Musical
It all begins with four women, ‘Power Woman’ (Miquel Brown), ‘Soap Star’ (Samantha Hughes), ‘Rutland Housewife’(Su Pollard) and ‘Earth Mother’ (Amanda Symonds) at a lingerie sale with nothing in common but a black lace bra - and hot flushes, night sweats, memory loss, wrinkles, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex and day-to-day challenges with ageing parents, ageing children and ageing partners! A joyful parody of 25 re-lyricized classic baby boomer hits, the 90-minute show features chart-toppers including "I Heard It Thru the Grapevine You No Longer See 39" and that old favourite "My Thighs”. The new Members' Chat Room
Many AMG members have told us they would like to meet up or chat with others on the site yet the idea of sending that first personal messages can be daunting. So we have provided a more informal way to communicate with the introduction of the Members’ Chat Room. To get the most people online together, AMG will be running a hosted meeting in the Chat Room every Monday evening, so there will always be someone to talk to.
See the new, new feature... In the box at the bottom of the screen type in a User Name to view the Profile of the person you are chatting with
As next week is a Bank Holiday the next hosted meeting is on Tuesday 8th May 2007 8:30pm to 10:00pm.
If this proves to be popular we will extend the number of sessions per week.
Everyone is welcome! Why not join us?
