Creepy characters, wicked witches and mysterious mazes – this Halloween, head to Warwick Castle’s The Haunted Castle for thrills, scares and surprises!

With all-new attractions for 2019, guests can make their way around the imposing Castle depending on their fear factor level – Plucky Pumpkins, Daring Dukes or Brave Knights. With eerie experiences around every corner, there is something for everyone, whether it be a tiny tingle down the spine or a shocked shriek.

By day, odd characters tell spellbinding stories to guests of all ages with lighthearted fun to be found in the Haunted Hollows, Witches Tower and Dead Centre Stage, while a scarier ambience emerges as darkness falls with actor-led and special effects-rich experiences in new Dead of Knight.

For Plucky Pumpkins

Youngsters can delight in a host of spook-tacular activities and shows through the day at Warwick Castle. New for 2019, convince the snooty butler he is not alone in a spooky old mansion, help the Witches discover the secret to eternal youth in the Witches Tower, or weave through the Haunted Hollows woodland trail before joining a host of bizarre characters for fun, games and spooky shows at Dead Centre Stage.

For Daring Dukes

New for 2019, join the Warwick Castle team as they present their broadcast hunting for ghosts – what could possibly go wrong? In the creepy Castle Dungeon, visitors can find some of the darkest, bloodiest and most frightening times in the Castle’s history as live actors and special effects bring life to these gruesome tales. Returning after a successful debut last year, tackle the Escape Room to free the tortured soul of an imprisoned War of the Roses soldier – before time runs out and the door is locked forever!

For Brave Knights

Only suitable for the very bravest and new for 2019, head to the Haunted Castle after dark as chilling mists roll in over Warwick to pit your survival skills against the dreaded army of the dead. Travel through the depths of the Castle to make your escape and live until sunrise in the Dead of Knight scare maze.

With fearsomely fun attractions for all ages ranging from Wicked Witches to the dead come back to life, Halloween is one of the most evocative times for the castle that bristles with the energy of those who’ve lived – and died – here over the centuries.” said Melissa Paniccia, Head of History at Warwick Castle.

With birds of prey circling overhead and castle characters sharing spooky stories around every corner, The Haunted Castle is the real deal this Halloween, for all the family.

The Haunted Castle costs from £20 per person for daytime entrance and from £15 per person for evening entrance (5pm to 10pm from 24th-31st October only).^ Tickets including the Castle Dungeon experience cost from £25 per person.
