Christie visited Puerto de la Cruz in 1927 with her daughter Rosalind and secretary Charlotte Fisher and it is said that the beauty of the garden in the grounds of British Mansion Sitio Litre was the inspiration for the setting of her short story “The Man from the Sea” from her book the “Mysterious Mr Quin”. Prestige Holidays’ guests enjoy free entry to the garden, the oldest on Tenerife.
