Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival 2018

Come and taste Hampshire’s top still and sparkling wines, attend masterclasses and relax to live music at the sixth-annual Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival.

Swirl, taste and revel in the flavours at the Vineyards of Hampshire Wine Festival, a sensational afternoon of first-class wine tasting, wine masterclasses, meet the winemakers and vineyard tours.

The festival has established itself as a popular and renowned event in the wine calendar, attracting locals, holidaymakers and industry experts to the region. Debuting six years ago, the festival rotates around the vineyards in the group, and the range of wines on offer grows ever more diverse each year.

Co-organiser, Caroline Stevens from Danebury Vineyards says, ‘Every year the Vineyards of Hampshire wine festival attracts increasing numbers of wine and food lovers. It is a wonderful day out tasting, purchasing and learning about English wine in a quintessential English vineyard.’

The hosts, Raimes English Sparkling, are joined by the VOH members: Cottonworth, Danebury Vineyards, Exton Park Vineyard, Hambledon, Hattingley Valley, and Jenkyn Place.

Hampshire Fare food producers and the Alresford Ukulele band are on hand to entertain and compliment the stunning wines on show.

The Vineyards of Hampshire wine festival takes place on Sunday 22nd July from 12.00pm to 4.30pm hosted at Raimes English Sparkling Vineyards, Hinton Ampner SO24 0JY.

Tickets are on sale through Eventbrite at £12 each and masterclasses can be booked at an additional £10 each. The ticket price includes tasting samples, a free wine glass and the opportunity to stock up on your favourite bottles. There is also a limited number of combined tickets available, which include the entry fee and a return coach trip from Winchester train station. Early booking is recommended.
