A Mrs Elswood Pickle-Tastic Picnic Week Collaboration at Max’s Sandwich Shop

National Picnic Week (15th-24th June) has begun and to celebrate, Mrs Elswood, the nations favourite pickle brand has teamed up with super cool Max Halley and his notorious sandwich shop

Max has worked his Willy Wonka magic on some delicious sweet & sour pickles to come up with a tangy pickle and tarragon salsa, making the additional filling that we think, is the best thing since sliced bread. Perfect for popping in your hamper and being the envy of the picnic rug, among friends, family and pigeons at your favourite local park spot.

The already popular ‘Et Tu Brute? Murdering The Caesar’ sarnie will be filled to the crust with roasted guinea fowl, Mrs Elswood sweet & sour pickle, grape and tarragon salsa, baby gem, chicory, garlic croutons and anchovy mayo, available to eat-in or takeaway from Wednesday to Sunday next week (20th-24th).

Known for his quirky combo’s and unusual ingredients including deep fried noodles, Bombay mix, shoestring fries and spring rolls, Max has become the King of sandwiches in London, so a collaboration with the go to pickle of celebrity chefs and foodies alike, is a sandwich made in heaven.

Picked at the height of the cucumber season and delicious on their own, with dips or whipped into a relish, Mrs Elswood pickled cucumbers come in a range of eight tasty pickled cucumbers. The perfect summer snack for picnics, BBQs and garden parties, pickles couldn’t be trendier, plus they’re great for gut health.

Come along and share Max’s love of Mrs Elswood pickles with a sandwich that @the.xandwich can’t stop raving about and join the fun, whether it’s an indoor picnic in Crouch Hill or a takeaway to the park.
