Paul.A.Young creates California Prune–Inspired Chocolates for Father’s Day

World renowned, award winning chocolatier Paul.A.Young has created a sensational new chocolate featuring California prunes in celebration of Father’s Day

At the forefront of the British chocolate scene, Paul’s passion for his craft combined with cutting-edge creativity have won him numerous awards and led him to being ranked amongst the world’s best chocolatiers. He regularly develops flavour combinations incorporating California prunes that are original and unique yet always perfectly balanced.

To mark Father’s Day, Paul’s hand-crafted California Prune and Buttermilk Truffle promises a flavour explosion that is naturally sweet and tangy, with an appealing texture, courtesy of the world’s premium quality prunes. The luxury chocolate features 65% Guittard Peru chocolate shell, California prune concentrate and puree blended with buttermilk and Duffy’s 55% Ocumare Venezuelan milk chocolate, then hand rolled in prune powder. The softness of the powder adds to the texture and prune flavour while the prune concentrate works to retain moisture, does not crystallize when reduced and actually helps to stabilise the end product delivering an extended shelf-life.
