Isle of Wight Festival: 21st-24th June; Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight

2018 marks the 50th anniversary of the festival and this year’s line up includes Kasabian, Depeche Mode, The Killers and Travis plus many more.

Thorness Bay Holiday Park is a family friendly park with a whole host of facilities, including an indoor pool, bar and evening entertainment. Goodwood Festival of Speed: 12th – 15th July; Chichester

This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed marks the event’s 25th anniversary. Well established as the world’s greatest celebration of motorsport and car culture, the festival is perfect for those wanting to experience a day of vehicles and motoring.

Cars, live music and plenty of fun for the whole family can be found at CarFest North. The festival is in aid of BBC Children in Need, so is a fantastic cause to support, whilst still having fun.

Manor Farm Caravan Park is a farm site on the Cheshire Plain, two miles from Tattenhall and offers grass pitches from just £30 for two nights (based on 27th July). Edinburgh Festival Fringe: 3rd – 27th August; Edinburgh

Known as the world’s greatest platform for creative freedom, each year the city of Edinburgh welcomes thousands of performers to share their talent. This includes both established artists and newcomers. There’s something for everyone and the festival includes comedy, theatre, dance, circus, musicals, opera and children’s show to name a few.
