Montana’s Ranch At Rock Creek Launches Nat Geo Photography Workshops

Set on what was once a billionaire’s playground and now an exclusive haven with a celebrity following, Montana’s 6,600 acre Ranch At Rock Creek is the only US charter member of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World Collection – each unique vacation destination, handpicked for world travelers who value an in-depth expedition over a passing glimpse.

This summer, the ranch is offering a new Nat Geo accredited photo workshop with instruction geared to all levels, from beginners to advanced. Guests will be honing their skills behind the lens in one of the most environmentally rich regions of the world with photography guides trained and accredited by Nat Geo photographers. The program also includes a weekly smartphone photography class called “Montana Photo Moments”.

Located near Phillipsburg in one of the Big sky state’s most pristine valleys, the new workshop will give guests the opportunity to capture Southwest Montana’s wildlife, ranch life and the beauty of the changing seasons; 2018 also marks the year of the bird, the region noteable for its American Bald Eagle sightings.

Six nights with Ranch Rider from £6,294pp (two sharing) including accommodation, meals, most ranch activities, photography instruction (on equipment and image composition and basic editing techniques), Sony mirrorless digital cameras provided, taxes, transfers (from Missoula) and gratuities.
