Champagne is really a love affair. It is all about generosity, happiness and about taking the time to share good moments’ – Vitalie Taittinger, Champagne Princess

What better way to show your loved one you really care this Valentine’s Day than to treat them to one of Champagne Taittinger’s fantastic rosés? These elegant wines will add extra sparkle to the occasion and we have something to suit everyone.

Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé

A beautiful, vibrant rosé which makes for a brilliant aperitif and is sure to be an excellent start to the evening. Vitalie Taittinger describes drinking the wine as the ‘sensation of having a big kiss of the wine’ – very fitting to the occasion.

Peter Morrell, Food and Drink editor comments, “I’ve had the pleasure of drinking the Brut Prestige Rosé, the image above is of it “chillin’ in my kitchen”. It’s got a vivid bouquet with strong aromas of strawberries and cherries. On the palate it’s beautifully dry with a fruity and lively character and it has a persistent finish. The ideal champagne for Valentine’s Day.

Winner of the Silver Decanter World Wine Awards 2017, Taittinger Brut Prestige Rosé is available from Waitrose, Asda, Wine Rack, Majestic, John Lewis, The Oxford Wine Company, North and South Wines, Bacchus Wines, Harrods, Fenwick, Ann et Vin, The Leamington Wine Company and with an RRP of £50.60

Taittinger also produce a slightly sweeter Rosé

Taittinger Nocturne Rosé ‘City Lights’ NV

Peter Morrell says, I have tried Taittinger Nocturne Rosé in the past. It has a very stylish ‘City Light’ bottle that sets the scene for this sophisticatd drink. The champagne is slightly sweeter than the Brut Prestige Rosé. There are good brioche notes on the nose and the palate is reminiscent of strawberries and cream with a good balance between sweetness, acidity and tannins. The finish is bright and fruity.

Available from Harrods, Campbell Moore, Ann et Vin, Edencroft Fine Wines and with an RRP of £54.50
