Maverick Helicopters expands Hawaiian operations to Kauai, Hawaii

After almost three years of operating on Maui, Maverick Helicopters will open its second Hawaii location in quarter two of 2018

Maverick Helicopters, an award-winning division of Maverick Aviation Group, will expand operations to Hawaii’s northernmost and oldest island, Kauai, later this year. The expansion comes after nearly three years of successful operations on Maui and this will be the sixth permanent location for the company. The flights will depart daily from their facility at Port Allen Airport, located one mile southwest of Hanapepe, Kauai.

Maverick Helicopters’ new excursions will showcase Kauai’s spectacular landscapes including Waimea Canyon (known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’ and it stretches 14 miles long, one mile wide and more than 3,600 feet deep) and Napali Coast (Kauai’s 17-mile coastline, displaying panoramic views of velvet green cliffs, cascading waterfalls and the vast Pacific Ocean).

Jody Hanson, Sales and Marketing Director at Maverick Aviation’s UK and Irish office says “we are absolutely delighted that we will soon be offering helicopter excursions of Kauai as well as Maui, Hawaii. Visitors will be able to see spectacular panoramas of the island’s natural beauty that aren’t easily visible by foot or road. This will be an unforgettable experience from one of our state-of-the-art Maverick Helicopters.
