Raise a glass with Sailor Jerry and the London Cocktail Club

Celebrate the birthday of the father of American old school tattooing, Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins

Raise a glass to the father of American old school tattooing Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins at the London Cocktail Club this weekend. To celebrate his birthday, London Cocktail Club – Bethnal Green and Sailor Jerry – the bold, and smooth as hell spiced rum inspired by its namesake’s legend – are clubbing together to pay homage to the man himself, offering guests two ‘King Jerry’ cocktails for just £12 on Saturday 13th January and Sunday 14th January.

A limited-edition cocktail to celebrate what would have been Sailor Jerry’s 107th birthday; the ‘King Jerry’, is the perfect sailor’s serve, made from a blend of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and King’s Ginger liqueur, honey, egg white and topped with lime juice – traditionally used on board ship by seamen to stave off the effects of scurvy. Get a flavour for Sailor Jerry’s own flash art work from the vessel, each decorated with a landmark design from his tattooing days in World War II Hawaii.

Sailor Jerry have also partnered with ARC Inspirations bars in Leeds, York, Harrogate, Ilkley and Manchester to offer limited-edition cocktails from 14th January – 4th February.
