Corrigan’s Mayfair has Burns Night Covered

Bagpipes, Whiskey Pairings & ‘Ode to Haggis’ Plus a great Scotch Broth Recipe from Richard Corrigan too!

A Burns Night celebration at Corrigan’s Mayfair would not be complete without Paddy on the bagpipes

Irish chef Richard Corrigan’s team includes a healthy Scottish brigade at his restaurant Corrigan’s Mayfair off Park Lane, so arranging a Burns Night celebration on 25th January is a must. Expect a reciting of the ‘Ode to Haggis’ whilst Scottish sommelier Natalie will offer a ‘Toast to the Ladies’ – all to the tune of the bagpipes played by Richard Corrigan’s trusty and multi-talented doorman Paddy.

Diners will be served a Whisky Pairing to accompany each course and enjoying dishes such as Speyside Whisky cured Scallops, Haggis stuffed Aberdeen Angus Wellington, Clotty dumpling, Glayva custard and Scotch Whisky salted caramels.

£75 for the 5 courses, £35 for the Whisky or wine flight or £110 for the full menu and Whisky or wine flight to match.

Alternatively if an outing to a restaurant is not on the cards we recommend one of Richard Corrigan’s easy but flavorsome Scotch broth recipes. For the detailed recipe go to Great British Chefs.
