Ye Olde Bell launches pampering afternoon tea at their new spa

Boutique hotel, Ye Olde Bell, have launched a special afternoon tea special to celebrate the opening of their new multi-million pound spa

The ‘Afternoon Unwind’ combines the quintessential English treat with an indulgent pampering treatment and access to the elegant spa.

The traditional afternoon tea at the 17th century hotel, located in the village of Barnby Moor, on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, features a selection of finger sandwiches, mini patisserie, homemade scone with clotted cream and preserves with a choice of tea, coffee or champagne.

Guests can then head to the beautiful new spa, which opened in June, where they can enjoy ten spa experiences, indoor-outdoor vitality pool and outdoor relaxation areas with alpine lodges. They will also be able to select a complimentary 30-minute treatment of their choice.

The Afternoon Unwind is priced at £85pp, it includes 3 hours spa access from 3-6pm, a 30-minute treatment and afternoon tea.

For those who just want to enjoy the tea, without the spa, afternoon tea is available throughout the hotel, the gardens and on the terrace. Priced at £17pp or £24.50pp with champagne. Tea is served from 2.30pm to 5.30 pm.

Ye Olde Bell

Ye Olde Bell is a privately owned 59 room country hotel dating back to the 17th Century. Located in the pretty village of Barnby Moor, on the corners of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, it rose to prominence as an important stop between London and Edinburgh with the inauguration of the postal service in 1635.

It has welcomed illustrious guests throughout its history, including a young Queen Victoria who stayed with her mother. One of its four suites is now named the Victoria Suite in her honour.

There are 59 rooms, suites and lodges all of which have been passionately restored and individually styled by the owners with period furniture, luxurious fabrics and contemporary bathrooms.
