Cottons to shake up Summer 2017 in London

London’s longest running Caribbean restaurant group Cottons will open two further restaurants in Shoreditch and Vauxhall this May and June

Cottons current site in Shoreditch Boxpark will close at the end of April and the beach party will continue at a new site nearby on Curtain Road, followed by a further restaurant opening at George’s Wharf, Vauxhall.

Mirroring its former incarnation, Cottons Shoreditch will offer a boutique space housing just 60 diners and 15 at the bar.

Taking inspiration from the Caribbean islands from Jamaica to Margarita, diners can tuck into authentic and innovative Caribbean food at Cottons. Starters will likely include Cotton’s 48-marinated jerk wings with banana sauce; and salt fish fritters with green mango and homemade scotch bonnet pepper relish. Main dishes will feature Cottons curried mutton with fried plantain; and whole baby jerk chicken with Cottons slaw.

All Cottons restaurants come with their own fully stocked rum shack with a predominantly rum led bar where classic tiki cocktails are shaken up in laid back style by Cotton’s expert barmen.

Colourful interiors and hand-painted murals depicting Caribbean island scenes will complete the scene.
