Celebrate St Patrick’s Day at Smith & Wollensky

Don your best green outfit and celebrate St Patrick’s Day at boutique steakhouse, Smith & Wollensky, in partnership with Jameson Irish Whiskey

Steak aficionados are celebrating Ireland’s much loved patron saint in the beautiful art deco Adelphi Bar, located on the ground floor of the restaurant, with pints of Guinness and Jameson whiskey cocktails created by talented head barman, Ernest Reid

Date and time: Friday 17th March, 6pm

Address: Smith & Wollensky, Adelphi Building, 1-11 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6HT

Begin with ‘The Tipperary’ (£12), made with Jameson Irish Whiskey and Italian vermouth, this cocktail first became a hit in pre-prohibition New York where the best of Irish and Italian cultures combined. The tipple was popularised by the song “it’s a long way to Tipperary”. Then sip and celebrate with the ‘Jameson Cloudy Apple’ (£10) or the classic ‘Espresso Martini’ (£13), both mixed and muddled with triple distilled Jameson Black Barrel

Peter Morrell, Food and Drink editor of AboutMyGeneration comments “When I’m in the USA Smith and Wollensky is my ‘go to’ destination for an outstanding steak. Now that the restaurant has a branch in London the pleasure of their prime USDA beef is much closer to home. Try it this St Patrick’s Day and you will get the added bonus of some delicious Jameson Irish Whiskey cocktails.
