Vincent Simone says, “I’m thrilled to join Viña Maipo for their ’Ignite Your Passion’ campaign. For me, life is about pouring expression and passion into my dancing. When I’m not dancing, it’s about making sure my glass is always half full: with friends, family and of course fabulous food and wine.”

The Viña Maipo Range includes:

Viña Maipo Classic Series Shiraz
Cherry-red, this elegant blend of soft fruit, vanilla and chocolate is both mellow and seductive
Viña Maipo Core Range Sauvignon Blanc
Zesty and balanced with a peachy aroma, a wonderfully refreshing, semi-dry wine
Viña Maipo Classic Series Merlot
Ruby-red wine with cherry and pepper aromas and a soft finish. This medium-bodied, lively and intense blend is spicy yet fresh
Viña Maipo Classic Series Chardonnay
A smooth, full of flavour white wine, semi-dry and balanced with tropical fruit

Peter Morrell, Food and Drink Editor of AboutMyGeneration said “I have tried two of the wines from the Viña Maipo Range. The first, the Classic Series Shiraz 2015 has good plum and blackberry aromas on the nose which evolve into vanilla flavours on the palate with hints of chocolate. The wine is full-bodied and smooth and it leaves a strong, persistent finish. The second, the Classic Series Merlot 2015 is bright and lively in colour. It shows good notes of dark cherry on the nose which develop into a spicy/pepper taste in the mouth with well balanced tannins. The finish is fresh and fruity.

I tasted these wines on the eve of National BBQ Week and they would both match well with grilled meat and would work when paired with pasta dishes.”

Viña Maipo is available from Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s with RRPs ranging from £4.80 to £9.99
