Four Days at Huntsham Court this Christmas

  • An Exclusive Four-Night Stay For Friends And Family
  • Festive Fun and Play under a giant Christmas Tree
  • A Yuletide Full Of Special Memories

For the ultimate Christmas get-together with up to 80 close friends and family, a four-night exclusive stay at Huntsham Court, the magnificent stately home in rural Devon, is the perfect gift.

Four nights’ exclusive full hire (December 23-27) is available at the special rate of £19,500 – a saving of £6,300 off the usual rate. That works out at less than £61 per person per night at full capacity.*

Set within five-and-a-half acres of immaculate grounds, Santa will have no trouble finding this quintessential English retreat to deliver his presents. Perfectly positioned for guests arriving from all corners of the UK – or overseas – Huntsham Court is just 12 miles from the M5; easily accessible by train; 30 minutes’ drive from Exeter airport and 40 minutes’ drive from Bristol.

Up to 80 guests can lodge very comfortably in the 34 bedroom house – all individually styled; some with quirky turrets and most with en-suite bathrooms.

On arrival, guests will be greeted by a fully decorated Christmas tree in the Great Hall and can warm up by the big open fire – perfect for the family to gather around in the evenings and with lots of room to hang up Christmas stockings.

Huntsham Court’s five huge but homely reception rooms afford plenty of space for ladies dancing, lords a-leaping, drummers drumming and other festive frivolity – while those who want to catch up on Christmas quiet time can easily find a little corner to hide away. And, for anyone wanting to attend a Christmas Eve carol service, the village church is just at the end of the driveway.

Guests at Huntsham Court can tailor their Christmas as they wish – choose from a quiet break in the countryside, transforming the house into a winter wonderland, or anything in between.

Whether it’s six geese a-laying, a partridge in a pear tree or another festive bird gracing the Christmas table, Huntsham Court can tailor to guests’ requirements. Choose to have an Ocado delivery on Christmas Eve, then all help to prepare Christmas lunch – or simply relax and let one of Huntsham Court’s preferred local suppliers cook and serve up a seasonal feast using fresh local produce.

Chefs and staff can be provided on request and the team can also arrange extra activities such as shooting or other outdoor experiences.

Youngsters will love exploring Huntsham Court’s hidden passages, gardens, nooks and crannies, while parents can easily find hiding places under four-poster beds or in far-flung corners to keep presents hidden away from little ones who can’t wait ‘til Christmas morning. There is a total 33,000 sq ft of interior space.

Although grand in scale and opulence, Huntsham Court is warm and welcoming and provides a home-from-home environment where guests can truly relax and feel at ease. There is no better testimonial than the one from last year’s Christmas guest, Arne Sorenson, President and Chief Executive Officer of hotel group Marriott International Inc. who described Huntsham Court as ‘grand’ and ‘welcoming’. As head of one of the biggest global hospitality companies, he should know!

Arne Sorenson said: “Even in the bleak midwinter Huntsham Court wrapped us in warmth and stateliness.”

Huntsham Court is also available for exclusive two night hire with just 19, 27, 31 or all 34 bedrooms, with prices starting from £8,500 to £14,200 in December. Find out more and book at www.huntshamcourt.co.uk.
