Time-honoured Traditions

St. Nicolas (£1.60 each) – Père Noël or Father Christmas is traditionally acknowledged in France on his celebrated day of dedication (Feast Day) on 6th December. Bakeries and families across the country spend the day creating mannala, small bronzed brioche men, to represent the patron saint. Dipped in a rich chocolate glaze adorned with milk chocolate cereal balls for extra crunch, PAUL’s St. Nicolas makes the perfect snack or naughty treat.

Galette Frangipane (£16.95) – Homes across France (and throughout the UK) celebrate Epiphany in January with a feast of royal proportions, which culminates in slices being served from the Galette des Rois (King’s Tart). Traditionally eaten on the Twelfth Night (6th January), this meltingly moreish pie, serving 8-10 people is made of buttery, flaky puff pastry with a soft, nutty frangipane centre. In keeping with tradition, one lucky slice will have a hidden porcelain figure which declares the recipient the King or Queen for the night – so be sure to chew carefully!

Your Favourite Stocking Filler

Sucette Renne (£1.45 each) – One of the best-loved characters in the Christmas advent, PAUL celebrates the faithful friend of Santa Claus and the hooved hero of fond memories with a reindeer-shaped milk chocolate lollipop. Grab a couple to drop into stockings or have a few to hand as spot prizes for festive family entertainment – these are a real treat for every age. What better way to gear up for the festive season and ride into Christmas.

Gourmet Gifts

Advent Calendar (£19.95) – Always the sweetest way to count down to Christmas, PAUL’s stunning decorative calendar has individual drawers that are pulled open to reveal a silky smooth chocolate truffle and a delicate ceramic charm. Characters include a reindeer, rocking horse and snowman – a wonderfully traditional calendar that can be used year after year.

Breadmaking Masterclass (£75) – Whether they’re a baking beginner or already brilliant with bread, give them the gift of PAUL’s secret to perfect hand-crafted loaves with a voucher for one of their famous bread-making masterclasses.

Available at two London locations; Bankside and Covent Garden, PAUL master bakers pass on the tips, tricks and traditional techniques behind their award-winning bread.
