Afternoon tea ‘stirred not shaken’ at Jumeirah Carlton Tower

Executive Chef Simon Young stirs up a Bond themed afternoon tea

To celebrate the release of ‘Spectre,’ Jumeirah Carlton Tower is inviting guests to experience afternoon tea in true Bond style.

Enjoy the irresistible medley of saffron bread filled with Laverstoke Park mozzarella, avocado cream, tomato and Sussex goat’s cheese or a lemon thyme muffin with Loch Fyne smoked salmon and shaved caviar. Try the brioche bun with roast peppered beef, watercress and grain mustard.

‘Die(t) Another Day’ and decide which dessert takes your fancy. Perhaps the ‘From Russia With Love’ inspired raspberry chocolate mousse volcano with matryoshka or the ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ Sable Breton with roasted white chocolate ganache. For 007 enthusiasts, no Bond experience would be complete without his signature tipple, so in tribute, try the apple tonka dome mousse with salted caramel sauce in a mini martini glass.

Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a beacon of British style, provides the perfect setting to enjoy this sophisticated experience inspired by James Bond. Situated in the heart of Knightsbridge for over 50 years, the hotel has 216 rooms, including 56 luxurious suites.

The ‘James Bond Afternoon Tea’ at Jumeirah Carlton Tower is available from 06 October to 23 November 2015 and prices start from £42 per person, excluding discretionary service charge.
