2015 Bermuda Humpback Whale Parade Begins

Your chance to see these magnificent mammals

Every spring an estimated 15,000* humpback whales migrate to the north Atlantic feeding grounds with their young, captivating the residents of Bermuda as the spectacular annual parade passes through the crystal clear waters near Bermuda.

The ‘Humpback Parade’, which commences in late winter and signifies the coming of spring, has now begun with an increasing number of these magnificent mammals being seen around the Atlantic island over the last few weeks. The best time to see the humpback whales on their journey is between March and April, when is it is possible to watch them from various vantage points on shore. However, for a truly breath-taking experience, head for the open seas on sailing or glass-bottomed boat to get up-close-and-personal – while still respecting their space.
