Easter seaside breaks at Aldeburgh, Suffolk

From £150 per night for two sharing in White Lion and Brudenell Hotels

Spend Easter by the sea at Aldeburgh on Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. A favourite holiday venue with discerning visitors since Victorian times, with its big skies, wide beaches and charming cottages, the small town has also been a magnet for musicians, artists and writers.

With their panoramic sea views, both the privately owned White Lion and its sister hotel, the Brudenell, are offering short breaks over the Easter weekend from Friday 3rd until Monday 6th April. The White Lion offers great value, brasserie style dining while the Seafood & Grill restaurant at the Brudenell has a more serious food and wine offer. It’s also idyllically located just steps away from the beach with spectacular, uninterrupted sea views.

Prices start from £150 per night B&B for two sharing an inland facing Explorer room at the White Lion and £180 for a country view Aldeburgh room at the Brudenell; upgrades to seaview rooms are available at a supplement and Saturday nights are subject to a two night stay minimum.

On Easter Sunday, 5th April, the White Lion will be running its annual family treasure hunt around the hotel and on the beach starting at 12noon. Afterwards enjoy a three-course buffet lunch including a family show, magician, face painting and a visit by the Easter bunny all for just £22 for adults and £12 for children up to 12 years, under 3s free.
