Michelin-starred chefs join Celebrity Cruises culinary team

To host exclusive ‘best of the best’ sailing

Luxury cruise company Celebrity Cruises today announced that Michelin-starred chefs Adam Simmonds and Robert Thompson will host exclusive tasting menus and demonstrations onboard a two-night sailing to Paris. The culinary voyage will depart from Southampton on 7 May 2015 onboard the newly refurbished Celebrity Eclipse.

Guests will be treated to cooking demonstrations hosted by Adam Simmonds, winner of Great British Menu 2014, and Robert Thompson, one of the youngest chefs in the UK to receive a Michelin star – alongside John Suley, Celebrity Cruises’ executive chef.

A limited number of places are available for guests to enjoy an exclusive tasting menu from each of the award-winning chefs, specifically created for the occasion and using seasonal ingredients. The ‘best of the best’ sailing follows the recently announced partnership with Great British Chefs, the leading culinary website, developed to highlight the diverse range of upscale dining experiences that Celebrity Cruises offers.

Guests onboard will also have the opportunity to meet Celebrity Cruises’ destination expert, Ben Fogle at his hosted travel seminars and adventure talks. Wine and beer aficionado, Oz Clarke, will also be on hand for wine tasting masterclasses.
