Celebrate a truly memorable Christmas & New Year

Xavier Boyer, Executive Head Chef at the stunning Michelin-starred L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, London, has created two truly memorable dinner menus to celebrate Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, as well as New Year’s Eve.

Located a stone’s throw away from the magical Covent Garden in the heart of the London’s West End, L’Atelier’s sophisticated three floors and stunning menus offer the perfect setting for a really special Christmas and New Year.

Chef Boyer has created an intricate and sophisticated seven course Christmas menu using traditionally festive ingredients in a courageous way. Enjoy delicacies like Le Caviar de Sologne Imperial with Sologne Imperial caviar on a symphony of salmon tartar, Le Turbot, poached turbot with Champagne sauce and Le White, a dessert showcasing a stunning white chocolate sphere with poached pear, chestnut and black truffle mousse. The specially curated menu will be available for dinner on both Christmas Eve and Boxing Day.

To celebrate the New Year, Xavier Boyer has created an equally spectacular seven course tasting menu. Indulge in La Saint Jacques, a scallop tartar with chopped black truffle; Le Homard D’ecosse, Scottish lobster with sweet corn and puffy, crispy rice; and Le Wagyu, tender Japanese top grade Wagyu beef with warm wasabi and harlequin peppers. Then to ring in 2015, complete the meal with a glass of Champagne and Le Bauble, a smooth chocolate mousse with an orange heart and cinnamon ice-cream.

Both menus can be enjoyed either on the ground floor of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, with its stunning Japanese-inspired counter that overlooks the chefs intricately at work in the kitchen, or in La Cuisine on the first floor where there is a more traditional seating arrangement and views of the open kitchen with its wood-fired oven. Le Salon de Joël Robuchon Bar on the second floor will also be open for before and after dinner drinks.

The Christmas Eve and Boxing Day menu is priced at £110 (£90 for vegetarians) per person, and the New Year’s Eve menu costs £250 (£150 for vegetarians) per head. The last sittings for Christmas Eve and Boxing Day will be at 10pm, with the Le Salon bar closing at midnight, and on New Year’s Eve the last seating will be at 10.30pm on the ground floor and 11pm in La Cuisine, with last orders in Le Salon bar at 1.30am.
