First video tutorial launched
In a nationwide search, Kenwood has found 12 of the country’s most hopeless cooks, with the aim of transforming their culinary skills before crowning the most improved cook the Kenwood Chef of 2012. The winner will walk away with a host of prizes worth over £4,000.
Kenwood’s 12 disaster chefs will be given a Kenwood Chef worth £549.99 and a weekly mystery food hamper filled with ingredients to help them on their gastronomic adventure, plus a camera to capture their progress. The overall winner will be chosen by a panel of judges at a grand final in September where the most improved finalist will win a kitchen makeover worth £3,000, a cookery course worth £500 and a selection of Kenwood products.
The campaign is being spearheaded by Silent Witness actress and self-confessed disaster chef Emilia Fox, who says; “I have always been a bit hopeless in the kitchen – it’s a running joke in my family how bad I am. Before I gave birth to my daughter, my Dad even bought me cookery classes as a Christmas present because he was so concerned about my cooking! I’m looking forward to learning new kitchen skills with Kenwood’s 12 disaster chefs and seeing how much we all progress on our culinary journey.”
